The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% growth over 2019. Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to observe a rise in Israeli tourism from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he added. The United States is our number one market for inbound tourism for Israel. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we had record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month.
